During 2020, we helped as many charities as possible during the pandemic. We streamlined our grants to make it easier to access aid quickly and ensured that we reached as many organisations supporting communities in distress as possible.
In 2020, we awarded £893k to 234 charities supporting their communities during the pandemic. We helped in their emergency response, to recover and to rebuild their services, many adapting to meet the new needs presented by COVID.
In total, our grants awarded in 2020 were £1,538,878 to 392 projects.
We are deeply proud of the Community and Voluntary Sector, and will continue to be at their side in 2021 and beyond.
